Emergency device
Both young people and adults are enjoying the mountains more than ever before, but the risks associated with high-altitude experiences haven't changed. We need to make rescue operations more efficient. That's why SYL has patented a technology that allows users to use an analog wheel to select the reason for the emergency call. This allows rescuers to reduce the time needed to prepare for rescue operations and arrive on site already aware of the situation.
SurvivalSat prototype is currently being tested on-ground by Corpo Nazionale Soccorso Alpino (Italy's official mountain rescue service).

Form — Engineered for ultra-compact portability and cognitive clarity in high-stress scenarios. The prominent wheel is positioned for intuitive, blind actuation, allowing for immediate single-handed deployment with just a thumb flick.
SYL
UX — To meet the requirement for an external antenna with 360-degree coverage, I designed a 180-degree deployment system. This keeps the device compact while ensuring full functionality during emergency calls.
SYL
Process — Redesigned the entire product ecosystem. I produced the interface design, 3D visualization assets, and functional hardware prototypes to facilitate early-stage funding rounds.
